Instructions to Start A Women's Business Alliance Composing for Fairygodboss moves me consistently I love to see stories on the site about womens strengthening, ways ladies can prevail in their vocations and particularly about how we can cooperate to help and enable each other in each part of our lives. I needed to give them a thank you blessing which likewise filled in as an approach to advance private ventures and offered a speedy asset for the 'whos who' of the zone, Edmunds said. I utilized my system and searched for neighborhood organizations who were keen on teaming up, and began with the loot pack idea. Every business would pay a little charge and be incorporated into the entirety of my customers loot packs that they get when they book a meeting with me. In the course of recent years, the gathering has extended and a Facebook bunch was made for help. The gathering meets month to month and has visitor speakers who offer showcasing procedures and administrations that their business offers. Our individuals can learn, be upheld and system in a cordial, steady condition. We regularly collaborate for various occasions and advance every others organizations via w eb-based networking media. We develop each other to succeed, bolster each other during the procedure, and engage each other to exceed expectations and push farther than we did the day preceding. Nonetheless, they werent dynamic, so there wasnt an advantage for everybody to keep the gathering huge. Presently, at 25 individuals, WBALKN has hit the sweet spot, as indicated by Edmunds. With regards to including individuals, I ordinarily talk with them first to guarantee they are a solid match for our gathering or they come in checked by a current part. The more theyre ready to take an interest and be included, the better theyll be for our collusion. Include everybody Not each part can make each gathering or occasion. Utilize internet based life instruments like Facebook Live to recap gatherings and keep everybody as associated as could be expected under the circumstances, to more readily advance and energize each other. Offer duty Elect advertising, noble cause and occasion administrators, so others inside the gathering are roused to step up and serve, as well. Give those seats access to the gathering FB and Instagram pages, so they can post and bolster different individuals, regardless of whether the establishing part is inaccessible or occupied with their business. Its great to have numerous individuals as the essence of the association. Show preemptive kindness Choose or make a nearby cause to help (which likewise advances your union). WBALKN is getting increasingly dynamic in the network as we additionally support good cause, including Shades of Love LKN and the Mooresville Soup Kitchen, the two of which are exceptional network associations. What the maths of dating can tell you about how to recruit Viewpoint careers advice blog

What the maths of dating can tell you about how to recruit The challenge of dating is that you can’t know for certain whether your current date is going to be the best suitor you’ll ever find.  Settle down too quickly, and you might never meet Mr or Mrs Perfect, get too picky and you may end up rejecting someone who is highly suitable for you. Replace the word “suitor” with “the perfect job candidate”, and you will see that there are in fact many parallels between trying to find love and trying to find the best talent for your organisation, albeit with very different judging criteria. Now, according to plus.maths.org the strategy is simple: Out of all the people you could possibly date, see about the first 37 per cent. Then after you have dated the first 37 per cent, settle for the first person whos better than the ones you saw before.” In other words, multiply the number of different dates you go on each year by the maximum number of years before you’d want to settle down, date 37 percent of this number, pick your best date from the 37 percent (let’s call them person a), and then continue to date the remaining 63 per cent until you find someone better than person a. The problem with the 37 per cent theory when hiring Unfortunately, while this simplified problem has a very elegant mathematical solution, it isn’t a lot of help in the real world of hiring, as there are three big issues with the way it’s set up: 1. No search costs â€" For dating, it might not matter if you spend the whole of your twenties working your way down the list to the magic 37 per cent, but in a real business there are time costs involved in recruiting, both the time taken away from the hiring manager for each interview, and the cost of leaving a vacancy open longer than needed (during which time customers are getting poorer service, sales aren’t being made, overtime is being paid to overstretched staff, etc.) 2. Focus on perfection â€" As presented, the only thing that the 37 per cent rule cares about is maximising your probability of landing the single best person in your potential dating pool. The rule doesn’t care if the best person turns up in the first 37 per cent. In fact it specifically states you should still reject them, using this person only as a benchmark for the next 63 per cent of people you date. In the real world, failing to fill a role can be very damaging, and we know that of all the account directors or software developers in the world, it’s not realistic to try to find the single best one, so a more realistic objective might be to maximise the probability of hiring someone in the top 10 per cent of performance for that role. 3.No going back In dating, the idea that you usually can’t go back makes some sense (soap opera plots aside), but in recruitment, the idea that you would interview and then accept or reject people precisely in sequence is clearly unrealistic. In the real world, candidates are interviewed in parallel, and you can compare them against each other during a well organised interviewing process, before choosing. An alternative strategy Fixing these limitations means that rather than creating an elegant mathematical solution, we need to rely on brute force simulation to get an answer, but in return the strategies coming out at the end are much more likely to tell us something useful in the real world. So using the 37 per cent rule as a guide, we’ll keep the rules simple â€" “Interview candidates for the first X weeks, then as soon as you have a candidate available who is at least as good as the Nth best candidate you’ve seen already, hire them.” What do the results of this modelling look like? The two outcomes we’ll keep an eye on are quality (the probability of hiring someone in the top 10 per cent of performance) and time (the number of weeks taken on average to fill the role, ignoring cases where the role never gets filled). Figure 1 shows the results for the case where two candidates are interviewed per week, and we assume that candidates remain generally available for a fortnight after you interview them. As you would expect, when we look at the quality side of the equation, it pays to look for a long time and to be choosy (picking the 2nd best candidate you’ve seen after 10 weeks gives you an 84 per cent chance of hitting a top 10 per cent candidate), but interestingly, not too choosy (if you hold out for someone better than the best person you’ve seen after waiting 10 weeks, then the possibility of never finding the right person changes.) On the other side of the equation though, the need for an efficient and rapid hire will push in the opposite direction â€" to interview for as few weeks as possible and accept anyone (although if you’re only interviewing for as long as your first candidate stays available, you can afford to pick the best person you’ve seen). How should you balance these two opposing drivers? One answer would be to express them both in financial terms â€" the cost of spending longer hiring (which will be related to the cost of the interviewer’s time, and the penalty for leaving a vacancy open) versus the value of hiring a candidate who is great rather than ok (which will depend on the extra business benefit the best hire can bring, as well as the typical tenure for a person in the role.) The tables in figure 2 below show the “true cost” of hiring using each interviewing strategy, combining the cost of interviewing, holding a vacancy open, and the opportunity cost of not hiring the best person. The purple cell shows the lowest cost and hence “optimal” strategy, for three different “quality of hire” premiums. Applying this evaluation approach to the model gives the intuitive result â€" the more impactful or important a role is for your business, the longer you should spend hiring for it, although it also suggests that for the longest searches, you might not get the best result by holding out for the single best candidate, but might need to accept #2 if you’ve left it too long to hire the best person you’ve seen. How should we apply the lessons of this model to real-world hiring decisions? Although we have added some realism to these calculations beyond the very abstract 37 per cent rule we started with, the real world is definitely messier â€" candidates don’t arrive in a neat queue and wait a fixed time before they accept an alternative job. As such, rather than try to extract exact strategies from the model, it’s better to think in terms of the more general lessons it highlights: You need a wide net â€" the optimal hiring approaches suggested by the model generally involve interviewing a much larger number of candidates than a typical recruitment process might include. If you interview four candidates, your probability of not having seen a top ten per cent candidate is 66 per cent, whereas after ten this chance has dropped, but only to 35 per cent. The best way to get a top ten per cent candidate will often be to outsource a first phase of interviewing to a recruiter, who can talk to tens or even hundreds of potential candidates to assess their fit, before narrowing it to a shortlist for you. Pace of interviewing matters â€" Although in the real world, you may be able to reserve candidates for more than the fortnight used in the model above (particularly if a recruiter is helping you to access people who are not actively job-seeking), a drawn out process will mean that you lose potential hires, as they are snapped up by competitors, or lose enthusiasm due to the wait. All things being equal, it will be much better to interview five people over a week, than to interview the same number over a month. In long searches, you might not get your top pick â€" a long time spent interviewing candidates can sometimes elicit a tendency to expect a better candidate in return for that time investment. This is particularly likely to happen if you’ve seen a great candidate early in the process who you failed to hire, perhaps because you didn’t move onto a final round of interviews soon enough. In these situations, it can be necessary to ask yourself whether the best person available at that moment is good enough. If you’ve spent months looking, and they are clearly at least the second best person you’ve interviewed, well ahead of the general standard, they might be the right person to hire. On the other hand, if they’re still not the person you want to hire, you may need to revisit your search parameters, whether in terms of skills, experience, sourcing approach or salary. In summary, although the strategy for a perfect hire in the real world is no more solvable with a spreadsheet than the quest for perfect love, maths can provide a window into new ways of thinking about the process, challenge our intuitions and beliefs, and perhaps even improve the outcomes. Eliminate Negativity from Your Job Interview Answers

Eliminate Negativity from Your Job Interview Answers You have sent dozens of resumes and have finally landed that interview. Now, it is time to start thinking about those potential interview questions and how you will answer them. This practice and thought process is an important part of the job seeking process. And, it is just as important to think about how your answers may sound to a potential employer. By practicing your responses to commonly asked questions, it will be easier to see if you come across as a negative or positive potential employee. For example, if the prospective employer asks, “Tell me about yourself,” they are trying to get to know youâ€"as a professionalâ€"better. If someone responds with something similar to the following: “Well, I’ve been stuck on unemployment for the past year-and-a-half and haven’t been able to find any sort of job,”â€"it obviously starts the interview on a negative note. Indeed, you may have been on unemployment for the past year-and-a-half; however, there is a better way to phrase the response. Try this: “My last job ended after the company closed its local facility. Since then, I have been honing my soft skills and searching for a job that fits my skills, abilities, and career goals.” Doesn’t that sound much more positive? Another example is the following question that employers may ask: “Why did you leave your last position?” There are many potential answers to this question. Some employees may state something similar to the following: “My boss was really unethical and I just couldn’t get along with him; his personality was terrible.” Again, the boss may have been difficult to work with, but you do not want the prospective employer to think that YOU are the difficult one. Instead, try, “There were some practices going on within the company that I didn’t agree with; it made it a difficult environment. So, I have decided to try to find a positive atmosphere that meshes well with my abilities and qualifications.” This is a much more positive approach. Remember that negative answers lead to the perception of a negative person. Be sure to think ahead to interview questions and frame your responses in a positive manner. Let the “positive you” shine through and showcase your skills, educational history, experience, and abilities to your prospective new employer.

Resume Format - A Brief Look at Resume Writing For PDF Format

<h1>Resume Format - A Brief Look at Resume Writing For PDF Format</h1><p>Although truly your resume can be written in practically any organization, a resume designed for PDF position is greatly improved. The explanation is that it is simpler to peruse, your introductory letter will be simpler to peruse and your entire resume will be simpler to print out and outline. We should take a gander at how you can design your resume for this format.</p><p></p><p>First of all, I should state that in spite of the fact that the substance of your resume can be in any organization, it will in any case be arranged for PDF position. In this way, all the data that you would remember for a standard resume would not be remembered for a PDF continue. For instance, you may have portrayed your preparation as an Associate of Arts degree in Communications, yet in a PDF group, you would compose 'Four year education in science in Communication'. A common resume will ha ve two unique passages, the principal section containing essential data about yourself, the second containing increasingly point by point information.</p><p></p><p>However, on the off chance that you will compose your introductory letter in a PDF design, it will be arranged in an unexpected way. You will have a third section which contains data about the position that you are applying for, with the titles the primary passage of your introductory letter. I will allude to the configuration of the introductory letter as the 'standard introductory letter position'. As you probably are aware, the introductory letter is one of the primary things that your potential manager peruses, so it ought to be an expert looking format.</p><p></p><p>Now you can without much of a stretch include the subtleties that you remembered for your resume, similar to instruction, work understanding and grants and so on and it will all be perfectly composed in a PD F group. It is a lot simpler to compose than a normal resume, and it is anything but difficult to look over and print out.</p><p></p><p>Also, it is much simpler to design a PDF for printing purposes than a traditional resume that is either arranged for an association or printed out. That is on the grounds that a standard resume incorporates a great deal of boxes and bulleted records, which make it hard to print out and check for your potential employer.</p><p></p><p>I should state that there are a few different arrangements that you can use for composing your resume. The most widely recognized is the MLA position, which is additionally utilized by the American Society of Newspaper Editors. The main distinction between this configuration and the standard resume design is that it has no clear lines or page breaks. The activity advertisements for papers regularly require the MLA format.</p><p></p><p>Finally, we sho uld make reference to that you can likewise put some HTML labels in your resume, yet they are significantly more hard to peruse than the line endings. Consequently, I unequivocally suggest that you position your resume for PDF format.</p>

PhD Zone Talk directly to employers University of Manchester Careers Blog

PhD Zone Talk directly to employers As part of our annual Pathways: Careers Options for Researchers programme, we bring a select group of employers together to answer your questions about what employers look for in applicants who have a PhD, in our PhD and Researchers Zone at the Graduate Recruitment Fair. When? Wednesday 12th June 2013 Where? Armitage Centre, Fallowfield, alongside the first day of the Graduate Recruitment Fair Who can attend? Any current or recent PhDs or doctoral research staff, from any university How do I book a place? You dont have to! However, if you register beforehand, it will make it much quicker to get into the event (otherwise, youll be made to register on the door) More info here: PhD Researcher Career Zone Who will be there? At the moment (be warned we sometimes have drop-outs on the day!), the employers signed up to attend are: Adelphi Group Ltd pharmaceutical consultancy and medical communications AMEC Power and Process engineering BAE Systems Detica information systems, business technical consultancy Complete Clarity (part of McCann Complete Medical) pharmaceutical consultancy (update: cancelled, 6/7/13 sorry!) GVI Global Vision International volunteer abroad opportunities IBM UK Ltd IT and business services The Institute of Physics careers and employment advice for physicists Instrument Design Technology Ltd beamline engineering and technology company Jaguar Land Rover automotive design, manufacture and sales Nucleus Central healthcare communications Pentest Ltd IT security consultancy Praesto Consulting Customer Relationship Management and Business Intelligence consultancy Schlumberger global oilfield services company SRG scientific recruitment agency and scientific services employer Tessella scientific and technical computing Unilever FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) multinational (including RD) There will also be a stand for careers and employability advice, staffed by me and other careers and researcher development colleagues, to answer any general careers queries or give you an extra confidence boost before you go and tackle all those employers. I think this is the strongest range of employers weve ever had at the PhD Zone. We normally have a good selection of employers looking for physical science, engineering and IT specialists, but this time, weve also got 3 employers targeting life and medical sciences researchers, and several consultancies and other employers who will consider any discipline (some but not all will expect you to be interested in applying technology, maths or statistics to business problems but that doesnt mean you have to be a programmer). Will they all have current vacancies for PhDs? No. They are all interested in recruiting people with PhDs at some point, but not necessarily right now. This means that even if youre not actively looking for a job imminently, its worth coming along to talk to them, for future reference. The aim of the PhD Zone is to allow you to quiz them on how they view PhDs, the value that PhDs can add to their organisations, and how they recruit PhDs, when they need them. Why no public sector/arts/social sciences employers? Unfortunately, those organisations either recruit PhDs in such small numbers or have such tight budgets that they cant afford the resources to send someone to recruitment fairs. (Believe me, we try, including offering them the space for free!) So not worth my while coming? Hold on there! If you want to see if your skills could be put to good use in a business setting, come along with an open mind and see what the PhD Zone employers say or see which other (non-business) employers are coming to the main fair. Talking of which Are there any other employers I can talk to? Keep an open mind and come and talk to the 70+ employers in the main Graduate Recruitment Fair downstairs. They are looking for people who have degrees and that includes you. A lot of the employers in the main fair look for graduates (including postgraduates) from a wide range of backgrounds, including humanities. If you come to the first day of Pathways (Friday 7th June), youll probably hear from PhDs who started employment by using graduate entry points and then hear about how they progressed much faster than other graduates, because of their maturity and advanced skills. Of course, the graduate route is not for everyone. This is our advice on deciding whether or not you should consider a graduate job after a PhD. If you are open minded, on Wednesday 12th, other employers include Her Majestys Government Communication Centre, the Information Commissioners Office, News Associates (journalism courses), Teach First and the Teaching Agency, Creative Support (care provider) as well as lots of retail management, engineering, finance, IT and science employers and general recruitment agencies the full list here. And theres more on Thursday 13th June, we have a whole different set of employers (but no PhD Zone that day). Employers on Thursday include the UK Civil Service, Government Operational Research Service, the Co-operative Group, the Local Government Association, the National Health Service Leadership Academy, Language Empire (interpreters and translators), and loads more retailers, engineering, finance, IT and science employers and general recruitment agencies full list here. Want to know how the make the most of these recruitment events? I know lots of you will have attended these fairs and come away saying they were pretty useless. If youre not interested in jobs with any of the employers attending, or any similar employers, then theres probably not a lot of point wasting your time. However, Im going to be controversial, and say that some of you were just asking the wrong questions or expecting the wrong information. Before you dismiss the idea of attending, try reading my advice on How to make the most of careers events as a postgraduate. Then make up your mind! 7 Ways to Attract Millennial Talent on Instagram

7 Ways to Attract Millennial Talent on Instagram Wait, what? Instagram can be used for more than just making pretty, filtered pictures and cool Boomerang videos? At first blush it might not seem an obvious fit for recruitment, but it’s not always that obvious. But hey, we’re going to help you see the bright light of employer branding through Instagram. 1. Let’s talk numbers According to Instagram (or Facebook if we’re very keen on the details) the main demographic of the current 700 million  Instagram users are female. And theyre young females, since 90% of the Instagram users are under 35 years old. And heres where it gets interesting: 80% of the users follow brands on Instagram   that’s more than 500 million people following all sorts of brands! The biggest chunk of the Instagrammers , about  400 million  of them,  will post everyday and half of them will also post an Instagram story 200 million. Seems they’re doing all right with the stories after all, since Snapchat can’t keep up with ‘only’ 166 million active users. But enough talk about millions, percentages, users and followers. Let’s turn these numbers into actions. 2. Hiya, Millennials! Yes, most millennials are on Instagram, most of them are attached to their phones throughout the entire day. However, they are the future, they can be your future managers or specialists. So all we need to do is reach out to them, right? Nope, that’s where you’re wrong. They will reach out to you, if you’re cool enough. Establishing your employer branding is the first thing to do when you’re launching an account on Instagram. Millennial jobseekers will have an opinion on companies very quickly based on their social media. So, you need to build your company brand with behind-the-scenes snaps, office shots and most importantly: the people! Since they might be the future colleagues, the millennials want to know everything, about everyone. They will do their research on all employees, because that’s what they’re doing all day: browsing and searching. Artistic photos of the workplace and office area will also give your future talents a sneak peek of what it’s like to work there.   3. Using the right # Another very important detail is the use of hashtags. Some companies might have amazing Instagram accounts, but completely miss the boat on that one. Here’s how you can make your own hashtag.   View this post on Instagram Its time for ?? #LiveInLevis A post shared by Levis Netherlands (@levis_nl) on Mar 30, 2017 at 4:50am PDT While you’re at it, you should also add the relevant industry hashtags to your post. But beware: don’t overdo it! Otherwise it might look like you’re spamming, and no one likes spam. 4. Instagram stories Snapchat 2.0? Well, not quite. They’ve grown quicker than Snapchat already. If there’s one thing we know is that your potential employees want to know everything. Literally EVERYTHING. Once they’ve laid eyes on you, they’ll be in full time stalker mode. Instagram stories are great for documenting a day-in-the-life of your employees. Focus on the jobs you want to fill, for example: give your graphic design team access to Instagram to document their day if you’re looking for a new creative addition to the team. 5. Stream away If you really want to take Instagram stories to the next level, you should try streaming the stories live. One thing to take into account: always make multiple announcements before you go live. This will remind your potential candidates to come back at a certain time of the day, to find out what’s happening live from the office. An excellent example of an interactive live stream is answering a couple of QA’s on the spot. John Mayer extensively used the live stream function to play music and talk to his fans. If John can do it, so can you! 6. It’s not for everyone Of course, Instagram is not relevant for every role, company or industry. The demographics lean towards the creative industries and candidates. The ones you’ll most likely find on Instagram are media, fashion, art, marketing, PR, communications and those mostly connected to the creative industry. However, this isn’t ruling out the more corporate roles, you just have to work a little harder. Think about the visual aspects of the job description you need to fill and try to mould it into a cool piece of content. Even if it’s not attracting any talent, you’ll always be building (and improving) your general branding on Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/BUtrbTIDeke/?taken-by=shiseido 7. Too many drinks + Instagram (= Nightmare) Before diving  straight into recruitment on Instagram, we’d like to give you a little warning. Do NOT allow access to your entire company. Set up some guidelines and make sure a small, creative team is posting on the account. A few companies didn’t and you can see one of the results below. https://www.instagram.com/p/b7dffTuGTh/ Let’s just say it isn’t very pretty. Being a bit tipsy during friday’s drinks is OK, however there should be a guideline on whether it’s Instagram worthy or not. Every post will add something to your company’s branding after all. So, there you have it: 7 tips on how to reach the unreachable millennials through Instagram. Use them wisely and please: don’t overdo it. Keep it real. Also give us a shout if you come across a cool Instagram campaign on recruitment: we’d love to know!

Quitting The 9-5 What It Takes To Start Your Own Business I know that more and more people are getting tired of the rat race each and every day. People just aren’t content with working for somebody else anymore. They want to start their own business and try to make it on their own. So many people are doing it and succeeding, so why can’t you? You can, but it will take some hard work in order for you to reach your goals. Here’s what it takes to start your own business and quit the 9-5: A Great Idea You need a great idea to start your own business. You can’t steal anybody else’s ideas or start up with an idea you haven’t thought too much about. Your idea needs to be as perfect as you can possibly get it. What’s different about your idea? Why will it work? You need to make sure there are no holes in your idea. Do some research on your industry and see what you think is missing. Plenty of Groundwork You’ll need to do plenty of groundwork to get your business started, before you even start to earn money. You’ll need to think about where you’re going to do business. You’ll need to think about making sure everything is set up with a place like Your Company Formations. You can’t cut corners when you’re trying to get your business off the ground. Start Up Capital Most businesses need start up capital, and it isn’t always easy to come across. You may need to borrow from family and friends. You may need to offer a percentage of your dividends to investors online. You may even approach banks. Whatever you do, you need to make sure you have enough money to keep you going. Business Relationships Building up strong business relationships is important. You won’t be able to get things done all alone. You’ll need web designers, tech support, delivery companies, etc. You can even get good discounts when you build decent business relationships A Business Plan Creating a business plan can be hard work, but it can help you to move forward when you’re feeling stuck. It can make you pre-empt problems before they arise, so you know how you will sort them. It can help you to secure funding too! Passion and Determination You need to be determined to make this business work, and passionate about the product or service. If you don’t believe in your business, how can you expect anybody else to?! The Ability to Outsource and Delegate Outsourcing tasks rather than hiring will save you money on one off jobs. You should be able to delegate to other members of staff though, so you can all get the things done you’re good at. You can’t do everything, so you need to be able to hire staff who you trust. Money Management Skills Money management skills are crucial, especially in the first few years of business. If you can’t manage your money properly and run into problems, you could end up failing before you’ve even really started. Don’t be tempted to splash out on flashy things when you don’t need them at the start! Starting your own business takes discipline. However, if you’re serious about it, you can make it work. Writing Resume For New RN Grads

Writing Resume For New RN GradsIf you are looking to find a career in nursing, one of the most important things to consider is what to write in your nursing resume. Many people make the mistake of writing their resume in a way that does not provide them with a good chance of success. Since so many people want to get into the nursing field and to stay in it once they are there, they often focus too much on the specific skills needed in order to succeed in the field. Instead of focusing on these specific skills, they focus on their unique qualities, which, in turn, leads to them looking for another position once they graduate. When writing a resume, the best thing you can do is to first focus on what you want to accomplish. This can help you better know what to put on your resume. In order to write a resume that is strong, you will need to focus on the specific skills you will need for the nursing field. You do not want to focus on your particular skills if you do not know what you want to do. For instance, if you write a resume in a way that says you are a great writer who knows how to craft interesting content, this simply does not do you any good in getting you a job.In order to write a great description, you should focus on your strengths. These will be your unique qualities that you can use to show employers why you should be hired. There are some things that are important when it comes to strengths that will allow you to focus on these in your resume. These will help you show that you are the right person for the job.Being able to show a lack of flaws in yourself and having characteristics that others love about you will show that you are good at interacting with people and having good character traits. Knowing that you have both of these will give you an advantage in a job interview. The more positive things you can include in your resume, the more the employer will see that you are worth hiring. While it is important to also emphasize your abilities in pati ent care, it is equally important to let your skills in other areas show as well. While the point of a resume is to highlight your strengths, it is also important to remember that there is no such thing as a weak person in the medical field. You can be competitive with all the other candidates, but if you do not show that you are a strong person, you will never be hired for the job.As for the weaknesses you should focus on, this should be in your own strengths. These are your unique characteristics that you can show off in a resume. Whether you are a bookworm, a joker, or you work on your personal hygiene, these can be great highlights that show the employer why you are a good candidate for the job. Employers love a good story and they enjoy hearing the stories of the people they hire. You should also be sure to mention that you have worked with other people in the past and that you have written resumes for other people in the past as well. This shows that you are outgoing and will b e able to work with other people to meet your goals. This will also make you an asset to any staffing company or hospital. They will be more likely to hire you based on your ability to work with other people and demonstrate your versatility. While writing a resume for a new RN grad may seem like a daunting task, it should be fun and easy to do. With some basic research and by using common sense, you can easily create a great resume that will get you noticed by the companies you are applying to. By concentrating on what you want to accomplish, you will be able to put the skills you have to work for you in order to land the right job.
